Lol at all this emphasis on free. Is all of the emphasis on the fact that it's free just to try and get people to download it, or are people seriously shocked that it's free? Just curious. You yourself responded to me just the other day with a very solid answer as to why this should be a required download for people. Free is a requirement for a Forge canvas, period. Why would 343 purposely cripple their game by requiring this Forge addition to be purchased? And considering how many features Forge is/was missing compared to its previous installments in previous Halo games, why wouldn't they make something that goes a long way to fixing that for free? I get the PR, the whole emphasizing the fact it's free as one big thank you, but it's not. It may be a big thank you, but it's not free because of it. It's free because it had to be free. It was the only choice that made sense. :P

All that "free" stuff aside, this is easily the best thing 343 has done to improve H4. Even Bungie failed to do this for Forgers. Forge World was a great first step, and its features were fantastic, but it was oh so limited. Brilliant addition, 343. I'm really happy that H4 has something like this, and I can't wait to see what maps the community churns out! I also really really hope that these creations take over Matchmaking, because some of the best ma[s MM has seen have come from the community in H4 (oddly totally opposite from Reach).
