That's a Revenant?

From the front page.

So, apparently this got pretty far into production if it has animations, art, etc. My question is, why call it a Revenant? It has about as much in common with the Revenant as the Booster Frame has with an X-Wing. You could just as easily call it a Spectre or a Mega-Ghost*.

As for why it wasn't included in the final game, I'm going to venture that it's too similar to the Warthog. The original Spectre was maligned for that reason, and it had boosting and an extra passenger seat to set it apart**. In Halo 4... well, there wasn't exactly an abundance of allied help to man all the seats.

Thoughts?

**Unlike the Warthog, I think that the passengers are pretty key to the experience. A Warthog passenger with a beam rifle is a bonus. Two Spectre passengers with beam rifles is awesome.
