Volunteers
By:Cody Miller

So the Marathon Story page had a cool series of posts called volunteers in which people played through the levels of the trilogy, and posted their experiences to reminisce, uncover things they never saw before, and otherwise revisit the Marathon trilogy.

We've all seen let's play videos on youtube, and I'll admit it can be fun to see folks play through a game and talk about it.

Why not though, take it a step up? This is Halo volunteers, and it won't work without your help, since I can only be so interesting and have so much knowledge by myself.

Here's the idea: I (or someone else) will create a video for each level, playing through it while people fill in the gaps and be entertaining / informative / insightful. I'd like to make it special, and am looking for the following types of people to be in the videos:

1. Someone with a lot of history with Halo
2. Someone really good at Halo
3. Someone who worked on Halo or otherwise has an inside scoop
4. Anybody deep in a specific Halo scene (speedrunning, forging, mapmaking, etc).

We can all watch people get drunk and play Halo. Ideally the finished product would be 1 part nostalgia, 1 part fresh perspective, and 1 part fun. I don't know if this will work until I try. If you are connected, spread the word to anybody who might want to be involved.

Be able to skype at the very least, and video chat would help greatly.

Pillar of Autumn is first. Contact me via the email attached to this post.

If nothing else, you'll get to see no death full path playthroughs on Legendary.
