In Response To: HotS is not canon (Cody Miller)

This whole post is an unintentional gold mine.

"I started gaming when I was 5. My first games included the Legend of Zelda, Duck Hunt, Ultima I-IV, Pool of Radiance, Super Mario Bros., Battletoads, and a laundry list of now ostensibly 'classic' video games. I've been around a long enough time to have developed highly sophisticated tastes in what I watch, like to play, and additionally developed a good eye for detail and nuance in narrative ideas along the way."

rofl.

His rant about Blizzard catering to 17 year-olds is even more roflicious when you consider the fact that when he played Brood War and fell in love with it when he was, you guessed it, 17. But I'm sure he'd tell you that's because he was a very sophisticated 17 year old and not because BW wasn't the Pride and Prejudice he thinks it was.

It's also amusing considering most informed observers today consider Brood War to be a train wreck in terms of its story and narrative.
