I'm not sure why you insist upon me insisting upon the white standing out compared to the red ones. I was purely stating my opinion on what happened in Reach, I didn't even mention Halo 4 in the post of which you responded to.
As for your two color solution goes, I would be infavor of that. Anything which contrasts from the map art overall will end up being the best way to go.
