If you have a sense of adventure and a friend with a drive emulator there is a modified version of the map pack disc. Not that I know alot about it, but it looks like it could be fairly safe.

Not sure how savoury you'll find the above solution, but considering you've already bought the map packs (which were then made free and then delisted) it seems ethical (to me atleast).
