Didn't win though, did it. There always seems to be some weird nominations at all the gaming awards.
Why New Super Mario Bros. Wii U was nominated for "Adventure Game of the Year" at the DICEs also baffles me.

: What. Well, I guess the environments looked nice.

Halo 4 had some really stand-out beautiful moments that I believe get overlooked.
The reveal of Requiem's landscape when you exit the tunnel from the crash site was the first time since the Halo 3 announcement trailer that the series had really impressed me with its visuals.

Halo 4 did win in the DICE awards for "Outstanding Achievement in Visual Engineering"

Personally, I just think its interesting the usual blockbusters didn't fare so well.

CoD: BO2 has, to my knowledge, now failed to win a single category at this years BAFTAs, DICE awards and even the VGAs.
