I wouldn't say 'so many'. I don't care for artistic redesign where none is needed, or rather, I'd wish that their artistic mantra was 'let's be faithful to the franchise we're stepping into'.
I'm all for new Halo content, but not at the expense of the preexisting content.
That said, the biggest change (to me is the Dawn's complete redesign. It's far, far different than the design changes between the Halo 1 Autumn and the Reach Autumn (and I wasn't a fan of that!).
Why did the Dawn's supply of Warthogs not look like Halo 3? Why did the Dawn's supply of equipment not all have the older UNSC logos?
I'm all for the Infinity using new logos and new Warthogs.
I understand the game reasons for some of the changes (which wouldn't occur if Halo 4 had been a novel instead) but there was some stuff that was changed that just didn't need to be, and it's not the change that I hate, it's the artistic decision or consensus in a company that thinks that's a change that should be made.
The rest of what they did to tell us a new story, I can get behind.
