In Response To: So, where does the Halo story go from here? (Gravemind) I know where the story is going to go. This is just the highlights. Halo 5 begins with a cinematic showing the Master Chief attacking a large ONI facility and shows him killing everyone in it. The Master Chief began his murderous rampage against the UNSC and ONI in his attempt to cover his terrible grief about Cortana's death. Just after exiting this ONI facility the Chief hears a faint transmission coming from within the building from Cortana that alerts him to her location deep inside. Cortana isn't dead but has been repaired by the Librarian. Cortana rode Darth Didact's, turn-the-humans-to-dust beam down to earth where she entered a secret ONI facility that is deep underground. Cortana discovers in the ONI database, that there is a giant sphere hidden in the Arizona Caldera ironically code-named, "The Phoenix". She discovers the alien race that occupies the sphere possibly pre-dates the Forerunners, but the sphere is emitting massive amounts of methane! The Master Chief runs as fast as he can to the coordinates Cortana provided him. He enters a small data center, a door opens to his left and Cortana walks up to a stunned Master Chief. Cortana reaches up and removes his helmet and a long, passionate kiss ensues. After the kiss ends, the Master Chief clears his throat and awkwardly adjusts his codpiece after feeling an unfamiliar stirring underneath the armor piece. Cortana reveals to the Chief that the Librarian has given her a permanent corporeal form but she can still enter the Chief's suit as before. Cortana informs the Chief that she still has elements of AI coded in her new DNA that could possibly make her vulnerable, but she is imbued with powers that greatly eclipse the powers of Darth Didact, so she isn't worried. Cortana reveals to the Chief of another terrible, massively destructive power struggle between the various races. Cortana further reveals that Halsey is pissed about something but she doesn't know what exactly! Cortana then unlocks all the "upgrades" given to the Chief by the Librarian. Cortana and the Chief, using their combined super-powers, begin their search for Dr. Halsey. With the Chief's and Cortana's combined super-powers they can enlarge the Chief's suit into a massive 15.000 meter long Master Chief spaceship that is impervious to "most" weapons. In their search for Halsey, Cortana and the Chief begin systematically destroying the remaining Halo rings after discovering the Covenant has been reformed by Halsey and Jul 'Mdama. During their travels blowing up Halo rings, Cortana and the Chief - feeling a bit nostalgic, visit the location where Sergeant Avery Johnson died and they find Johnson floating inside a tiny Micro-Dyson sphere. Cortana resurrects him and informs him of the current state of the universe and Johnson agrees to help them out. Cortana discovered earlier that she and the Chief have the power to "upgrade" any human they want with the same powers they now posses. The Chief and Cortana try to convince Johnson to get upgraded but he refuses. As we all know, Sergeant Johnson needs no stinking upgrades! Just before Johnson is found, Cortana still burning with vengeful rage against The Gravemind for torturing her, discovers that she can access the remaining Flood and can control them. The Chief puts Johnson in charge of getting to the remaining Flood and assemble them into a fighting force. The Chief throws his arms back, conjurers up a massive Pelican dropship that shoots out of his chest. Johnson boards the Pelican and flies out of the docking bay housed under the Chief's giant ass-plate. Halo 6 starts out with a cinematic showing the large sphere, "The Phoenix" rising from the Arizona Caldera to reveal the alien race is actually an all-powerful sect of ancient Unggoy that are intent on turning planet earth into a rich methane paradise using the trapped methane contained within the Caldera. Before the development of Halo 6, Bungie and 343 Industries join forces and the final battle in Halo 6 is between the all-powerful Unggoy, the Traveler from Destiny and the various surviving characters contained in both games. The fate of the Mater Chief and Cortana..... The 15.000 meter Master Chief spaceship comes out of slipspace near the earths moon only to be greeted by a massive plasma pistol that unleashes a single overcharge shot that impacts the huge Master Chief spaceship and causes him to be reduced to his normal size. The giant plasma pistol turns out to be the only weapon that can hurt the Chief. The Chief is knocked unconscious and is propelled to earths surface and bounces off The Phoenix and falls next to an all-powerful Unggoy Field-Marshal. The Master Chief meets his death in a terrible battle with this single all-powerful Uggoy. Because the atmosphere around The Phoenix is now entirely methane.The Chief's internal air supply runs out and he begins to suffocate. He falls to the ground, his vision fades to black, and the last thing he hears is the Super-Grunt that kills him saying."Who give beat-down? ME give beat-down"! Cortana is ejected from the Chief when he impacts the ship and falls into a huge Bubble-Shield deployed by Halsey near the Grunt sphere. Cortana and Halsey get into a short but intense fight. Halsey using her new prosthetic arm that is made up of the worms that form the Hunters -- speaks the phrase "yourassishugebitch" to Cortana, it momentarily stuns Cortana's long enough for Halsey to break her neck with her worm powered hand. The huge Unggoy sphere begins to deploy all of it's troops. The ancient Grunts wipe out all life on earth and begins setting up their paradise. The Ancient Grunt ship launches from earth on the mission to find all the remaining Grunts in the universe. Just before entering slipspace, a massive UNSC Pelican dropship drops out of slipspace and meets the Grunt sphere....... Since 343 is pulling the Halo story out of their collective butts, I thought I could do the same :)
