Well, I meant to post this two days ago, but man I've just been so busy. Since the world didn't end, I wanted to make this contest for all the co-op players out there--friends who love to play Halo with other friends, either across the world or across the couch. For bros tighter than White House Security. The married couple staying up way too late. Father and son stretching campaign to its limits. It's all for you! This one's going to be fairly simple--it's a screenshot contest. I'm calling this Connected Co-Op, and I promise I won't actually use the song Connected anywhere. The game is simple:From now until February 12th(I know, random date), just take a picture of you and your co-op buddy. It doesn't matter what you're doing, whether it's an action shot, a comedic picture, a promotion of togetherness, the discovery of a new and magical area, your team's pose, something epic, a historic achievement between the group of you, anything counts! You can take the picture from any Halo game(yes, even Halo Wars, if you can.) It doesn't have to be a free-cam shot like in 3/ODST/Reach. As synide has proven many times, you don't always need theater mode to create something awesome(I would have a link to Lethal Rage 4 here, but I can't seem to find it); likewise, we as a Halo community have managed to do so without it for a good 6 years. I prefer(in fact, I might have to require) that your pictures be taken directly from your source(capture card, etc.) not from a phone/digital camera, or something--the quality is terrible, and opens up possibilities of tampering. Rules:
On to Judging--all submissions will be judged Pokemon Snap style(Impeccable!), the manner of which that the more people that are in the shot, the more points you'll receive. I'll also be judging the pictures on a handful of factors on a 1-100 point basis, that on which I'll decide on later. Prizes: For the first time ever, the prizes are TBD! I have no idea what to get you people! I'm looking for something in a decent budget--something I might have to buy 4+ of. Unfortunately, I won't be able to buy any games this time(although, if you actually come up with an amazing Halo Wars shot of the two of you doing something clearly co-op-y, I might actually have to get you one. lol) Don't worry, I'll get you something nice by February.
