You : can learn everything you need to know online. And I think you're missing exactly why that's frustrating to me as a player. I have to stop my game, to jump on the computer, to run a google search, to find an answer to a question. Or maybe I have to post to a forum and wait for an answer. Or pray there's a wiki and it's already up to date, or even good to begin with. I can learn everything, yes, but it's taking me farther away from the game, and in some cases making me wait. If I have a manual, I bypass this problem entirely. I stop the game, yes, but I'm not going any farther than the game box to get my manual, find my answer, and then I'm back in my game. If there was a digital manual for Halo 4, I'd probably be frustrated instead of angry. If publishers want to continue on, in my opinion, with this ridiculous idea that not printing manuals is saving everyone money, when they're still shipping practically empty DVD cases that both bigger and not much safer than a paper sleeve, they can go right ahead. I will, however, bitch and moan the entire way. There's no excuse, at all however, for there not being no manual at all. Make a pdf and put the damn thing somewhere easy to find online.
