Visualizing the Halo Universe: An HBO Art Contest
Round 2
Remember, feedback on artwork is appreciated and encouraged. We're not looking just to win prizes, but also to start discussion!
Last week's submissions can be found here.
The next two weeks are going to focus on a subject that is a decided step back from our last one. While the Didact was a fascinating focus of study, we're going to be settling into our regular routine here by shifting to the more obscure areas of the fiction.

Subject:
Any undesignated human or Covenant ship from the Halo comics
Specifications:
- You may not depict a ship that has a name
- You may not depict a Forerunner ship
- You cannot depict the Covenant Stealth Ship from the Fall of Reach comics
- It must be a space-fairing vessel
- (Optional) Depict both a side view and a top (dorsal) view
- (Optional) Write a short production history for the ship

Details:
In many of the Halo comics, there are a handful of human and Covenant ships that are depicted, usually in the background of major space battles, but never given time in the limelight. As some of these utilize some rather interesting designs, I thought it might be fun to give them their time to shine.
In Bloodline, the human prospect explorer "Long Time Coming" crashes onto an unknown planet, where the wreckage of many ships from over the years can be seen. In both Genesis and the Fall of Reach comic series, unknown ships can be seen in the background and at key points in various space battles, with Genesis containing some of the more interesting designs. The Halo universe contains a large number of ships, and to date we've only seen a small fraction of them.
Extra Credit:
Depict any similar vessel that has thus far only been described in the Halo novels. Ships from the Forerunner trilogy are excluded. All above specifications apply.
