Now and then I think of when we were together
Like when I blew up the ring and flew into the sky
Told myself that you were right for me
But felt so wrong in games two and three
But that was love and it's a game I still remember
You can get addicted to a certain kind of gameplay
Balanced weapons and the maps, oh the maps
So when I found that you would not make sense
Well you said that I could play with friends
But I'll admit that I felt like it was over
But you didn't have to piss me off
Make out like One never happened and the Flood were nothing
And I don't even need your Ghost
But the Chief is like a stranger and that feels so rough
No you didn't have to stoop so low
Nerf the pistol and add stupid walking mechs that lumber
You know that I don't need that though
Now you're just some Halo that I used to know
