I remembered a post a few days ago (from xbill i think) about the elites in banshees on Halo: when you throw a plasma grenade onto the banshee, they move downward and rub against the ground effectively "putting out the fuse". I decided to see if I could do this on co-op on AOTCR: I had one player get in the banshee and the other throw a plasma grenade just like xbill did... and it worked! when you rub against the ground in the banshee, the grenade goes off, and your (the banshee player's) screen turns bluish-greeen for a second then fades away... and you take NO damnage! Even the second player, who was right next to the banshee, didn't take ANY damage (but he dieds when i "accidentally" ran him over ;)
I don't know if someone has done this before, but seeing how recent xbill's post was, i thought that maybe it was not yet done... if not, let me know 'n i'll try to upload pictures/video...
