Forerunner Visualization *IMG*

I've been slowly twiddling away at this concept for a few months actually, and while it won't actually appear in Shield and Sword for a little bit I believe, I thought it might be good to get it out there and get some thoughts before I work on it more or throw it out and start again. I thought it might also be a good conversation starter for a discussion on the visualization of the Forerunners, a topic that didn't even exist a few years ago, as the past laid dormant for most of the Halo trilogy. So what I'm really interested in is how this might compare to your own vision of some strange Forerunner's armor. I know we've seen some Forerunners alive and kicking in Legends and the Anniversary terminals - but from the books and the original trilogy, I always thought the Forerunners on the front line would visually be.... cooler, for lack of a smartypants term. I think those designs we've seen can still be used, but they should be just the tip of the iceberg. So what might have you imagined when 343 Guilty Spark condescended you about your inadequate armor all the way back in the Library? Would you see a Forerunner like this, looking out at the stars and hearing no reply, knowing only a handful were left to make 'the call' 100,000 years ago - the last decision of the Forerunners? Or should it be stranger, more asymetrical? Perhaps devices or fragments attached or simply floating nearby, for purposes entirely incomprehensible to our feeble minds at this time. The details may not matter at all - anything you design could end up looking like something much too... feasible, and attainable. Maybe it's the presentation that's important? Something that really throws you off, like a ring world or a shield world - something godlike in power, but also something not quite natural. For example, I think maybe my armor above might work, if presented more like this old doodle I posted here some time ago: A good way to describe a Forerunner in my mind, both in character and in visuals, might be: "Constellations in the darkness." What say you?
