A gravity drive.. Spinning thing rotates creating a magnetic field. Magnetic field starts moving green stuff. Green stuff becomes more dense as it spins faster and faster and more is fed in until worm hole opens up. Spock comes out, and the ring goes in. There is more gold on each plate than there is on the planet earth and there are 33 of them. 30 on the ring, and 3 on the spinner. Shiny gold too, thats the expensive stuff...
