... is that an artwork or project created in spite of an opposition of disbelief and criticizing minds, can be an extremely motivated piece of work.

Although the marketing will never likely spin the studio in this light, the truth is that 343i has to earn every once of our respect for Halo 4. Despite what a video or PR might show, I really think they, as a team or as individuals, know this as they continue to work. The weight of being handed the title of Halo-maker should never be seen as 'oh, well it's Halo - we've got this in the bag already', and I really doubt as experienced craftsmen, 343i would receive the mantle like that.

Although the community's negativity is never too fun to read in a forum, it might be a great rallying point for 343i to prove wrong and fight against. They could make the best game ever out of such determination if they followed it through.

I'm purely speaking from my own experience - I've always been motivated by an overwhelming challenge, and I think it makes my work better. I think Halo 4 might be better for it too.
