Very few semi-auto weapons had accuracy that was dependent on rate of fire. The carbine did, and I'd bet the magnum too (but I haven't looked at the numbers). But the BR never did - the error reset faster than the time in between bursts. The other big change is that the increase in error (inaccuracy) is dependent on the current level of error. That is, if you fire twice really fast, the increase in error from your second shot is much less than the increase in error from your 3rd or 4th shot if you're firing quickly. This means that bursts of two shots are usually optimal - for the DMR, 2 bursts of 2 and then a headshot; for the NR it's 3 bursts of 2.
