Scored Heroic whole game run - no deaths (Reach)

Have you ever heard of the Spartan 1 Project? They're one of the largest b.net chapters. They also now have their own website. Much of the group's activity is centered around a number of teams they have which help people get particularly hard challenges. You might remember the Annualists or the Highwaymen for example. They have other such groups such as the 'Quest For 52'* which are dedicated to unlocking daily and weekly challenges. Two members of this group (R MK XXV & Ham Sanwitch) posted a challenge known as 'Reach Iron Pro.' The rules for which are as follows: 1. The run is to be done on Heroic difficulty. 2. Scoring is to be turned on. 3. No skulls are to be turned on. 4. Co-op runs are not allowed. 5. Once you die the run is over. (You must restart from the beginning of the campaign.) 6. Phasing / warping are not allowed in the run. (i.e. Forklift glitch on Nightfall, Banshee glitch on New Alexandria, etc.) 7. De-spawning enemies is allowed. 8. Runs must appear in series in your stats. (to avoid recon of the upcoming level) (They must appear in a row (one after another) in your campaign games played on Bungie.net) 9. Silver accounts may be used 10. Saving can be done at a level transition only, not in the middle of a level. 11. Replays of each level are to be saved for possible submission for verification. 12. You must be a member of QF52. So sign up and get cracking!!! If you're not a member yet, click here to join! 13. There is no rule 13 . . . 14. Save quit/restart from last check point are not allowed to cheat death. Contest End date: Wednesday November 9, 2011 Contest will be judged based on levels completed in the campaign with the players overall score being used as a tie breaker. What do you get? 3rd place gets great fame. 2nd place gets 1600msp and 3rd place gets a year of XBL Gold. "Hmm..." I thought to myself, "I could always use a year of XBL Gold or some more Msp. Besides, it would give me a good reason to complete and post a heroic single segment." Single Segment, you ask? Yes. Though it would be incredibly unsporting, the contest rules admit the possibility that a player could die, sign out of XBL to hide it, then try the level again. Unwilling to even allow the possibility that my run could be questioned in this way, I decided to do it Single Segment (one sitting) style; so there would be no time in between the run time-stamps in the stats for any re-tries. To boot, with my newly acquired hardware, I would capture it in HD, as I played it, LIVE. That two minutes it took in between the end of one level and the start of the next? You can see that I was loading the next level, you can see what menus I was looking at, you can see when I activated my Legendary flames (why didn't I turn them on at the start!?!? :'( ). No funny business, all legit. It's taken me a few days to re-encode and find time to upload the monsterous 2 1/2 hour film to YouTube, but it's finally there. Because of the scoring component and the disallowal of the Forklift and Banshee Skips, this isn't exactly how a Heroic Single Segment Speed Run would look like: you can consider it a 'full-path' run if you like. But it would be something along these lines. Anyway, if you have time to watch the whole thing, please do. If not, I've noted in the YT description the time-stamps of where each level starts so you can dip in for just a level or two if you'd prefer. I hope you enjoy it!
