...on Boardwalk. Lil' Blue and I swung by the SWAT playlist to rack up a few kills for the weekly. At the voting lobby two people lagged out due to network problems. No big deal, I thought, it'll just split us into two teams of three. Instead, it split us into 4vs2. Four randoms versus me and my 4 year old son. I thought about quitting right away to avoid the slaughter, but decided to stick it out and show Lil' Blue that you stick in there even when the odds are stacked against you. Right after spawning we took up defensive positions (camping is a legitimate strategy, son). When Lil' Blue wasn't killing he was good at being the bait. We quickly jumped into the lead.
The randoms did a decent job of rushing us in mass, so eventually we got flushed from our campsite. We respawned and set up camp again.
Like an old chief instructing a young brave, I taught Lil' Blue how to wait for his prey to come to him.
I also helped him work on his marksmanship. Please don't ever shoot daddy there.
Team Randoms rallied towards the end, but when the dust settled Team Bluerunner and Son walked away with the victory. You just got beat by a four year old.
