There's an interesting synopsis of an interview w/ ex-Bungie-ite Jaime Griesemer up at Joystiq ... actually the post is a mere summary, and supposedly the full text of the interview will come within the next few days. In particular there's some great insight regarding his infamous "30 seconds of fun" comment (so often quoted by my wife ... ahem), particularly how it was a.) taken out of context and b.) how it actually applies to several intertwined gameplay design loops, namely of 3 second loops contained in 30 second loops contained in 3 minute loops (ummm, hello, where's the 7 in this?)
