True, those are all very good points. For the record, I've never played the original Team Fortress (but I have logged countless hours in TF2). It's not that I don't think TF2 can be a competitive game - just not in the same style as Halo. It all comes down to preference, and I just prefer sports where both teams have the same initial conditions and the match is determined by what each team decides to do with that setup.
