This is looking super-encouraging. I read the multi-page article that Gameinformer did about this complete reboot, and the visual style is really all I needed confirmed from the trailer. I already knew what Lara would look like, as well as what her new backstory is, and the style of gameplay that the game will have. She's set up to be an insanely real and believable "female hero". She starts out wounded and can't fight off a larger assailant. The idea behind the game is that she's not a cocky arrogant adventurer, but rather a wounded animal that's forced to become a survivor. It's pretty freaking sweet. What were you guys expecting?
