A Special Message Regarding Endure *IMGS* *CONTEST

For those of you who may not know me, I'm Bones - and when I'm not effortlessly demolishing the matchmaking competition, selflessly adopting orphans form impoverished countries, or using my All-Star status to gain VIP access to all the hottest parties, I'm an advocate for the United Endure Aid Foundation. I'm here today on their behalf to speak to you about a little-known tragedy that affects lives all over the globe.

Sit down, lean back, and let that sink in for a moment. Look to at the other five hundred people currently around you. Any one of them could be suffering from this horrible lack of achievement, this utterly crushing sense of failure that weighs them down - consuming all will to continue on with such a miserable existence. And if you're reading this alone right now, that person is probably you! After all, who would want to hang around such a loser!

I know you're thinking, "But that's impossible, Bones! How could anyone not know the pure and unabashed joy of Endure victory?" Trust me, as the personal owner of three Endure trophies, I could hardly believe it myself. Unfortunately, this is the horrid reality that literally hundreds of people face every day.

From the moment the veil was lifted from my eyes, I vowed to fight the good fight against Endure incompletion - and I continue to do so to this day. In fact, just a few short weeks ago, I was contacted by the Endure Aid Foundation to help finish that fight. They humbly begged me to lend my supportive services and dashing good looks to a group of four misfit players, who were looking to reclaim their self-esteem and redeem themselves. After negotiating my fee with my agent, I happily obliged.

Tragically, the misfit band's foreman chose not to head my advice, despite my gentle instance. The group fell into disarray, nearly falling under the crushing weight of the odds stacked against them. Somehow, the misfits prevailed, most likely due to the remnants of my sage advice still guiding them in the back of their minds. Their forsaken compatriots were, sadly, not so lucky.

At hearing this news, my heart was ripped into a thousand pieces - along with my second paycheck. They were lost, and I with them . The window of achievement had passed, and with it, their chance of ever earning the money to pay my fee. It was a very dark day, indeed, for the group's foreman would be sued so very hard -- and would have to pay far out the bumhole.

And then, something amazing happened. In all their wisdom and grace, Bungie bestowed upon the masses their greatest weekly challenge yet: "Endure - The Return". Suddenly, hope was a word we dared utter again. I immediately contacted the foreman, informing him of his chance to avoid legal action. But, instead of courteously agreeing to pay me my dues, he extended a challenge!

Naturally, being the essence of the sporting and debonair gentleman, I accepted.

I decided the time and gametype, and he the battlefield. The venue has been arranged, the contestants prepared, the stage set. The foreman even coordinated with my personal marketing department to let the word be known:

Challenge: Endure - The Return
Time: 10:00PM EST - TONIGHT
Location: Unearthed
Players: Bones & Fanella
Enemies: Bowels Quivering
Excited?: Only Hell Yes.

So, you think you're tough enough to roll with Fanella and I? Good, because you're going to need that ego to if you wanna chance at winning:

A FOUR ITEM BUNDLE OF THE DEFIANT MAP PACK(or equivalent MSP)
FOR YOU AND THREE OF YOUR FRIENDS

RULES & DIRECTIONS:

1. Download the custom-built firefight gametype from my fileshare.

2. Load up the Vidmaster Endure gametype in the custom Firefight lobby, and proceed to conquer it with three of your fellow Spartans compatriots on Xbox Live, System Link, or Split-Screen. You must pass the fourth set, and enter into the first round of the fifth set. Immediately after you have entered into the first round of the fifth set, end the game.

3. If all players already have the Defiant Map Pack, you must play on Unearthed. Otherwise, your party may choose to play on either ONI Courtyard or Beachhead.

4. Do not adjust the custom firefight gametype settings.

5. Each eligible player must have a valid Xbox Live Gamertag.

6. No idling. If a player idles for more than 2 minutes, they will be disqualified. We will take special considerations like lag into account at our discretion.

7. Once your match is complete, one member of the party needs to upload the film to their fileshare. Once complete, send an e-mail message to mbones153@gmail.com with a link to the game stats page on Bungie.net and a link to the film in your fileshare.

8. Fanella and I will be take the top seven highest-scoring games, and look for a winner based on the level of teamwork displayed. Assists are a good thing.

9. Fun is a requirement. We will disqualify you if you're not having fun!
