Broken sword

No, it's not a complain about the energy sword (although it could use some tweaking). I moved on to the next map... and filled my file share, and then some, with clips and more pictures than before, partly on Hedgemony's request. I tried going through all the doors on Sword Base and I found this as well as the part from the second cutscene in The Package-- it goes all the way to where the secret door is, which is very shiny for some reason, and without the light you can look back at the door where you'd come into the last section and find an interesting and ethereal sight.

Actually getting out of the level was a pain, I shouldn't have tried to finish last night. In addition to some ludicrous invisible barriers preventing me from getting a teleporter out by much, there are ridiculous camera barriers beyond those, so I had to take a different tack. I figured I might as well try the turret trick as it sometimes gets into tight spaces and once I was dead I was a little more free (I wonder if there's something to that, philosophically?). I set the respawn to 20 seconds so I could get around the closest outside camera barrier I found before the respawn yanked me back. I saw the sights, like this inside the base but outside the usual bounds-- I pulled way back so other stuff was visible for reference. I'll let you figure out what it is. I also saw this

and you thought the Longsword in the first game was boxy. Actually I saw that later when I checked something that turned out to be ordinary geometry. Before that I spent a few minutes holding the left trigger and left stick to get over here

and if you're paying attention to file names, yes, ITT Star Trek quotes. As a bonus, I've been sitting on this for months now.
