Obviously, for anyone who hasn't played Reach yet, this contains SPOILERS.

Yesterday, I requested some aid in rendering a music-less version of Reach's final cutscene. Why? Because I thought it needed improvement. Not the music, but the entire scene. I figured: "Less Whining, More Doing", so I set about to do something about that. This is what I created:

Now, I'm not 100% happy with it. With all respect to Jen Taylor, her delivery of those final lines could've been a lot better. The speech was a bit short to fully fit the video, so I did the best I could. The fade-to-white that came too soon in the original also posed some problems, as it left me with a shortage of footage. A keen-eyed viewer might notice my resolution the the problem. ;)

Also, I wasted about half an hour trying to fit the speech to the entire piece of epilogue music on the soundtrack. Only afterwards did I realize that only the final part of that particular track was used in-game. Oh well. :D

And, while I was working on that video, a couple of variations saw the light of day as well. Maybe you'll like one of them better. There's a second variant, too, but YouTube hasn't processed it yet.
