FyreWulff's Double Drawing Noble Map Pack Code Giveaway!Hello there. Everyone's got contests running for the Noble Map Pack. And I'd thought I would jump into the fray as well. I am giving away at LEAST two Noble Map Pack codes, as part of two seperate drawings. One involves dropping some dolla bills at an awesome charity. Don't like / can't use Paypal? I also have a non-commital guessing game for you. Disclaimers, Fast and Low! 1) These codes will be purchased at a Gamestop in Nebraska. As such, I can only guarantee that the codes will work in the United States. I have NO idea if Gamestop Noble codes are region-free, so if you are not in the United States I can not guarantee that the code will be usable by you. 2) There is no alternate prize if the Noble code is not redeemable for you. Sorry. 3) Since I will have to wait until at least the next day to buy the codes, you're going to have to be a bit patient. This contest will not get you access to the maps the moment they go up, so if you HAVE to be playing them within a half hour of them going up on Xbox LIVE, this contest is not for you. Code will be delivered sometime between November 30th and December 17th. 4) Both contests will be over by the 15th, so you'll know well in advance of the map pack release whether you have won or not. Contest 1: Mini Fundraiser for the Brian Morden FoundationThe first contest I am running is a mini-fundraiser for the Brian Morden Foundation. The BMF is about Brian Morden, someone who was very involved with the Halo community before the game came out, and was even closer with many of the oldbies of HBO. You can read about his story here. Back now? All you have to do is donate to the BMF via this widget to enter: That's it! Any amount gets you a raffle entry. (Please keep processing costs in mind) But wait, there's more! Every complete 5$ of your donation total adds another raffle entry for you. So if you donate 1$, you get one entry. 3.50$, one entry. 5$ is two entries, 9.99$ is two entries, 10$ is three, and so on. I do not see or touch or handle any of this money - it goes straight to the BMF's paypal account. All I can see is your email and the amount you donated - so make sure your Paypal address is one I can contact you with. So to make it clear before I continue: You are donating money to the BMF. As a thanks in return for your donation, I am giving you a raffle entry into a drawing for a Noble Map Code. You are not buying a raffle ticket. Clear? Good. Donations from any point from this post until November 15th (hrm, wonder why I chose that date?) will count. All donators will recieve at least an exclusive wallpaper for their kindness, regardless of donation amount. I will look into maybe adding some other digital goodies, but no guarantees. tl;dr - Donate to the Brian Morden Foundation via the ChipIn Widget.
Contest 2 - Guess the 10,000th Halo 3 map that I will play on!This one is fairly easy to enter. I am currently sitting at around 9,970 Halo 3 games. At some point between November 9th and November 15th, I will hit that 10,000 game mark. All you have to do is guess which map that 10,000th game is on and you will be entered in a drawing for a Noble code! Since I already know that I will be choosing the Big Team Battle playlist for that 10,000th game, the map pool isn't very big. You have a 1 in 13 chance of getting it right! The deadline to enter this contest is up until I start searching for my 10,000th game, so get your guesses in now. Any entries that come in after that will be discarded. Since the H3 map selection is completely random there is no benefit to waiting until game 9,999 to guess. You can check my Bungie.net service record or BungieCard to see how close I am to the mark:
There seems to be a different game count between the BungieCard and what Bungie.net itself reports. I am going off the Bungie.net count when the two disagree. Good luck!
