| Slipping through the cracks - Nightfall SLASO 4:15 | |

Ya know, I sometimes wonder if Bungie leave things like this in intentionally for people to find... Anyway, ya know Nightfall? Ya know how you can basically run past everything up until the Pylon, and then you have to kill stuff? (including two hunters!!!) Well, you don't. After Jun got stuck and refused to plant the remote charge, or open the gate, in Legendary Smile's attempt at the level on Mythic, he took matters into his own hands and tried forcing his way through the gate with the disembark animation for the Forklift truck. and it works! I tried this for myself, and turns out you don't even need the additional dead Forklift behind you. Simply position yourself correctly, and you'll slip right through the crack between the doors. Look:
This makes the level pretty simple with only a couple of enemies to deal with. So simple in fact, that you can blast through the level on Mythic (or SLASO: Solo, Legendary, All Skulls On), in just 4:15*. And I'm sure you could squeeze a few more seconds out of that too! Download the saved film for yourself here. The New Floodgate, anyone? *with no HUD on SLASO, and the online and post-game stats being useless for getting an accurate time now, I worked this out from the times on the timeline which showed as the screen faded to black at the end of the level, and the first time which showed after the 'chapter name' disappeared. Then added 5 seconds for the known quantity of time between you getting control of your character, and the 'chapter name' actually disappearing and allowing you to see the timeline.
