Okay, that's enough spiral path megabattling for now. I'm still in AOTCR though, and in BCM586 I attempt to reach the bottom of the AOTCR cavern using a Ghost. See how it went!

Nice moves! I felt that one botched rocket at 3:10, that's usually my problem when I try quick-draw.

I always feel the most bad when I kill the Marcus Lehto marines, for some reason.

So far, I've restored five of the tricks videos- all found on the front page, as well as the Forum. Currently all forums point to the 'Off Topic' forum since that was far-and-away the most active on the site.

Halo iBonk (Anyone remember from the olden days?)

Howdy!

I loved playing Halo 1 and Halo 2 growing up. Before Halo 2 came out, I was active in the Halo community, and came across an amazing website for tricks, launches, etc. It was run by Caleb W, aka Bonk.
Goatrope was a member and would post great launching videos, as well as Frogblast and other memorable names from back in the day.

Hopefully this post is found by someone who remembers Halo iBonk (or, in later days, haloib) from about 20 years ago. A lot has happened since then.

For nostalgia's sake, I've rebuilt the original site that holds so many fond memories. This version is using a modern web stack, but many of the old features are now only for show. I've done the best I could to reconstruct it from old backups from old hard drives, archive.org snapshots, memory, and original content videos people have re-posted to YouTube.

FYI I don't currently require any email validation so as soon as you register you can login (even with bogus email addresses like asdf@asdf.asdf if you want)

I'm just mainly looking to say 'hello' to anyone who remembers. This was a tight community and seemed to never truly die over the years. Over time people have randomly found the place (and other placeholder free forums as well that have been erected over the years).

Anyway, now I'm rambling. If you remember the place, I hope you stop by and say hello. It's somewhat of a memorial to good ole' times in history rather than an active community at this point.

The multiple grenade explosions at the 6:25 mark were spectacular. This is one of the things about Halo C.E that I always enjoyed.....lots of booms.
