Before you pick a Clan to join you should first know the ground rules:

1. Play for fun. While the best of us can get caught up in the heat of the moment don't get out of control. Go ahead and slam your fist on the couch all you want but if you let loose on your clan mates, show poor sportsmanship in the post-game room, or just start excessively cussing you are not cut out for our style of play. We're all about having a good time. Just don't be an asshole, basically.

2. Keep it clean. I don't mean squeaky clean, the game is M-Rated, but keep the swearing to a minimum. Poor sportsmanship in the form of anything from cheating to racism will absolutely not be tolerated.

That's a pretty basic rundown of the things you need to know before joining. Basically when it comes to behavior, use your best discretion and more importantly your common sense.

With regards to the structure of the clan, we have sorted the clans by timezone. The largest HBO population clusters are the Eastern, Western, Midwestern and European timezones. Those all justify having their own clan. I feel the need to bold this: You are not required to sort yourself by timezone. If you want to join the Western timezone clan but you live in Austria then you are absolutely allowed to. If you have more friends in one clan and think you'll have more fun there, then join that clan and not the one whose timezone you are in. That said there is also a general clan for the runoff.

The clans are as follows:

HBO Helljumpers: European Time Zones. Run by c0ld vengeance.
HBO Spartans: Eastern North America. Run by KP.
HBO Forerunners: Western North America. Run by N1NJ4.

If you wish to join any of the clans you will likely find a post in their individual forums, which are on this page toward the bottom, detailing the means of entry. Typically this will involve sending an email to the clan leader's email address. If you have any questions you may post them to this thread or email me.

Updated on July 15th for changes to new clan format, replies up until page 3 will be regarding a different structure (but much the same rules).

As the above posts pretty clearly states, the clans are divided by timezone if for no other reason than making it easier for the clans to play together. You will have a difficult time finding a timezone containing all of the afforementioned states. If you have friends from those states who want to join the same clan as you, remember to think of the regions as more of guidelines. Anybody will be accepted to any clan, at least until they fill up. As none of the clans are full, there isn't really any reason to start a new one up.

Nailed it. I would however like to point out the Spartans are closing in on being full. I'm not sure if I'll draw the line before 100 or just let it fill, but there are certainly some inactive members I could clear out before I deem it full, either way.

Oh okay. Well if you change your mind, you know where to find me. I'm gonna ask my friend if he wants to quit our clan and join yours. I got 2 see if one of your clans will accept me though.

And KP, I don't see how you would be able to not cap it at 100, as there is that whole clan limit thing bungie put in xbox live...unless that changed? (not sarcasm here)

By let it fill, he meant letting it go to 100, the question is weather or not to stop it before 100. Usually a larger clan means a less tight-knit group.

Oh, I see that now.
Well, half the people in spartans I have never seen online, but it's possible its just that the other half have never seen me online and I'm the one who is inactive...
But I doubt it.
It's already not that close knit, there are a few core players it seems like KP, akba, dawgchow. Though I haven't seen dawgchow in a while...but anyway.

I don't think it can be close knit with the current members.

goatrope, hawk and mr_n00b are on a lot too, and I play witht hem quite a bit. There are still others that I've seen online too. I'm thinking about going through the list on b.net and checking out all of their last active stats out. If it's been more than a couple months or something I'll drop them, I suppose. I'll have to figure it out.

Yes, I got your message, all five of them. I'll send you an invite next time I've got a chance. No, "guyses" is not a word. Are you mentally challenged? That's typically a sarcastic remark, this is no such circumstance.

NOTE TO PEOPLE LIKE SF:

As one of the main admins of the form, KP has enough on his hands to respond to and deal with, extra messages and other time consuming, annoying things are not needed. Just realax, if you want to get in, an invite will be sent.

(correct me if i'm wrong)

Okay I think wev'e kinda got off on the wrong foot. I'm new and I'm trying 2 quite my old clan and join this one and my old clan wont stop spamming me. So try 2 understand if I'm rushing stuff a lot. Well uh see ya. And just forget all of the other posts I made. And uh, like i said my posts and emails keep doubling, i think i figured out how to stop it.
