I Think That The Clan Could Be More Organized, More Active, And Just Overall Better. Capping The Members At 50 Or Maybe 40 Whatever. Just Boot All The People That Have Been On In Over A Month Or Something. All This Would Help The Clan Alot.

Is there any particular reason as to why you capitalized every word in that sentence?

It's a secret message!

and yeah, the Spartans (or what's left of them) would be alot better if the inactive members were cleaned up. I mean, some people in there haven't been on in over a year.

I can understand keeping them around in case they come back, but instead of having them hang around, kick them, and if they ever do come back, then they'll ask for an invite back in. Other than that, theres really no point in keeping 50 or some-odd inactive members around. The main reason I left the Spartans was because of the horrible inactivity.

Should do what the HJers do and give them two months. If they don't sign on in the two months then boot them from the clan. Unless KP has a few specials that he'd like to keep in because he's sure they'll return one day.

I'm yet to see a reason in this thread as to why kicking inactive members magically spurs current members to become more active.

Really, it's the person's choice to be active or inactive. You can't "make" them play Halo 2.

I think he means empty the inactive members out, and invite active ones in.

Either it's a really annoying virus or a bad option... What's With All The Caps At The Start Of Words? Is Your Entire Sentence Structure A Title?

It's very difficult to take such a post seriously.

We're not hitting out member cap, in fact we're barely at 2/3 capacity, so there is no reason to start clearing out inactive members.

Ok then i guess your right. Maybe weekly, or monthly tournaments could help the clan become more active.

That's something that we tried clan-wide but there didn't seem to be enough interest. Perhaps it's possible that it'd be more popular internally. The problem is that whenever we do this kind of thing we get barely enough interest to begin with and then when it comes time to play the match at the predetermined time, no one shows up. You can setup a Spartans-only poll to guage interest, if you want, and we can take it from there.

We didn't mention "making" them play Halo 2. I don't think that was mentioned once in this thread, actually.

The main point was, if you kick inactive ones out (especially when the clan hits a maximum of 100) then you can invite more active ones in and the clan might flourish a bit better and such.

Well, there isn't 100 members yet. So no worries.
