Location: Wild wacky action bike.
A couple days ago, BMac challenged the Forerunners to a clanmatch.

The Forerunners accepted (and are now recruiting people in joining the battle, as shown by their IBO topic).

This looks like a promising, intra-HBO clanmatch, hopefully it'll work out better than my attempt at a 2v2 tournament.

So, who's in?

I am. But are we sure it'll be 2 v 2, since usually Big Team games are this type of thing?

It will not be a 2v2. letha1's comment was only referring to the 2v2 tournament he and I tried to set up several months ago. The actual rules for this have not been decided at the moment.

That tournament failed so horribly. It was dead from the stat, then we just proceeded to continuisly stomp on it's dead body.

Poor 2v2...

1st match: Lowball on midship

2nd match: 1 flag zanzabar

3rd match: team slayer lockout

couple things....

1. Starting weapons? weapons on map? what about host advantage?

2. Does the third match have to be on lockout? I think I slightly larger map would make more sense, but that's just me

Won't work as a 4v4 IMO, since there's already 7 Spartans signed up. 8 v 8 would be best. If the Forerunner can't find any more people, we could do a 6 v 6 and swap out a few people to the other team every game.

Lowball isn't a very good choice for a 6 v 6 or 8 v 8, so it probably should be just Oddball on Turf, well maybe LowBall. Or we could swap it for Territories. 1 Flag on Zanzibar is good, and maybe Team Slayer should be on something larger like Fizz said; Terminal or Coag or Headlong or something.
