Argh!! They RUINED IT!!!

As of late, I've noticed that Clan HBO has a problem. Some clans are unused or breaking apart. This is dissapointing and I may have a few suggestions that could help-

Ovelords should be more organized. Take c0ld for example, he locks his main thread so no one but himsel can post on it. Saves space. keeps it clean. Then he stickys various threads for certain topics. He also has A_of_T help moderate.

Maybe each clan can be capped off at a certain number to prevent overflowing numbers.

Better desripted rules

The clans use their specific forum. This would keep the clan together. If they dont want other clans to view certain threads, then we could create usergroups for each clan.

Delete locked or unused threads.

Filter members: many aren't in the clan and dont post but take up space, i know there are unlimited membership, but they can use the main forum.

Overlords and staff should be responsible enough to keep the clans together and united as one clan. Even with other things in life, it is their duty to run things and they do have help.

Also- this may help clan Overlords take the weight off their shoulders-

Overlords
They need help running the clan, mostly from their staff. They can oversee everything and make sure their clan is running smoothly
Staff
There are many tasks staff could do to help the Overlords, such as moderating their specific forum or run the clan website.
Members and Peons
They can help by not starting useless threads and by not starting flamewars.

Here are suggestions for the General forum if it was redone-

Announcment- Clan HBO Rules, various clan sites, news and events. You should lock this thread and post when you need to.

Stickys- Video Thread post videos
Creativity Thread post art, and pictures
News halo news and clan news
Non-Halo Anthing not related to Halo but not important enough for a new thread
Complaints Post complaints about the game here
Other Clans know a great clan? Post here
Tips, Tricks and glitches This deserves a thread for itself
Halo Story Countless times has a person lost his/her way from the main forum and posted something about where the other spartans went. Not me of course. So it should deserve a thread.

So basically, the Helljumpers are the most organized and best clan. If the other clans were like us, I'm sure that they wouldn't be losing their members, and they would actually play Halo 2. Any ideas?

From the day this clan was created it's been like this. It's great, we all get on apart from a few minor cases *cough*Mopey*cough*

We are the best HBO clan, hands down

My old clan broke down because of several factors.

- Not all of us (leaders of the clan) got on with each other.
- The clan had VERY VERY VERY good people (who were like level 25+ without standby) and very crap people who were level 10 down. Of course, the good members eventually got sick of the clan's rank going up and down randomly due to the spread of skill.
- Eventually, the clan got a bad name and you ended up with people going "lmao, he is in gearbox LOL" and "wtf gearbox! we will OWN THEM!".
- Not all of the members themselves got on with each other.
- We had 2 forums.
- etc.

Put all that together and you get the GBC Halo 2 division.

I can't ever see the Helljumpers turning into something like that. Very Happy

I was slightly dissappointed today. I invited a friend into a custom game and people started arguing about what map to play infront of him, and then wanted him to leave as he was lagging the game slightly.

If you didn't know "Free2Bme" is...well...Do you remember this picture?

YEs when I first met him and Stunt pointed out who he was I was proud to play with him.

For no clan members to ever play Head to Head, ever again. Because I hate it, I'm fed up with playing people who either...

* Kill you once then hide or get out of the map and wait for the timer to end
* CONTINUALLY get the rocket/sniper/overshield/camo
* Be an idiot on the headset
* Employ the most boring and annoying tactics ever and generally be a really boring player to play against who just cares about their rank and not having a fun game.

Woah. I so do not appreciate having to see the same uber intrusive graphic twice in one lifetime.
Especially when it shows the supposedly 'famous' people with whom you have played. I think I speak for the majority of the intelligent population when I say - no one cares.
But yes, it is annoying when people start acting like idiots in a game with people you'd prefer they weren't idiots in front of, such as the games we played with the Spartans at the weekend. People, Andz in particular (I see no point in withholding your name, everyone knows you like to bitch), kept whinging about gametypes and maps and all sorts. I couldn't believe how rude some people were; we had joined their game and they ended it to play something more suited to the larger party instead of booting us, yet people whined.

I don't have problems with people.
The graphic is big and annoying, and irrelevant as far as the majority are concerned.
Andz bitches, we know this, he is also quick with his excuses, that's how he is; there is no real bias there.

Also, the rest of my message was universally applicable, it is very annoying to have people behave like that when you'd rather they made a better impression of the group.

I agree. Sometimes in games, the Helljumpers can be a bit rude and try to talk over everyone else.

I usually just leave in those instances.

Guys, try to remember that other people play this game and the last thing we want is for other players to start saying:
"Oh no, who invited the Helljumepers?.... There goes our game."
