Personally, I'd pay up to 80 for something like CoD6 or Halo: Reach considering how many quality hours I'll play on them.

Any reason for the retail price to be 55? Just milking cos they know loads will buy it?

They say its because of the 'weak' pound (which was Nintendo's excuse for increasing the cost of a Wii in the UK this year) however I think the pound is strong now then it was when Cod4 came out.

But its almostly certainly because Activision thinks it can get away with it. Just today the CEO of Activision joked about even higher prices

Fifa 10's RRP was 44.99 but ASDA and Tesco still flogged it for 25.
You'll be able to buy this for less than 40 quid by 2010
