Mopey - the dog in question is Cerberus, the mythical three headed dog who guarded the gateway to hell. Therefore with a motto of feet first into hell, having Cerberus as a regimental image seems appropriate.

Personally I like having the latin on it - seems a bit classier

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys, made my day. I was a bit nervous about posting...and thanks for the Latin too - I actually think it would have been fascinating to learn, even though my French and German were absolutely terrible.

I'll change the text and do a bit more work on all of them, as all three seem to have a vote. Suppose I should post the next set in the creative thread.

I like the middle one the best, I think. I just love the idea and symmetry of the HEV's.

haha that reminds me of a time I went on a Myth weekend. I made a trophy of a thrall for it - it was an Action Man I'd attacked with a soldering iron, stuck bits of plastic containers on for armour and poured a tin of Hammerite over the top. It actually looked pretty effective. Wish I'd taken a photo:(

Anyway, I think the latin works better with the decorative design style.
The cerberus concept is really cool and pretty clever when you realise the connection (not like it's difficult).

I really liked the second design on first impression, but now I think I prefer the collection of elements in the first and the simplicity of the third.

Actually I think it was a cheap knock-off from a pound shop. Don't know if that makes it better or worse...
